Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a GBA port of the popular SNES game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Overview

Released on September 24, 2002 in North America (September 20, 2002 in Japan, and October 11, 2002 in Europe), Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a Game Boy Advance port of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It was developed by Nintendo R&D2 and published by Nintendo. The port was well-received by critics (although not quite as well-received as Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2), and sold approximately 1.6 million copies in North America, qualifying it as a Player's Choice title.

The port is largely similar to the original game, although there were several changes made to the game. One of the largest changes was the addition of six bonus levels that were unlocked after finishing the main game. Other additions included voice samples from Yoshi's Story, a new ending if the player collected all 100 points in every of the 60 levels, and the exclusion of one red coin in one level.
